November

After Yosemite, we travelled to San Francisco. I knew the city, but I was exited. It is my favourite city in Clifornia.

In only three days, we had time to visit many different places: some architectural buildings, different neighbourhood typical from there, the beach, Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, Chinatown, Downtown... An we could go to funny parties I have only seen in here.

We came back to San Diego. We had to prepare for final exams. Then, we would come back to Spain for Christmas. But there would be another trip just before coming back... In a few days, we would go to New York for 3 days and there, we will take the plane to come back home.

November

Thanksgiving brought us a grea opportunity t have some free days. We had to do some trip. My friends and I love travelling, we onl had to find a new different place to live some diferent experience. Our choice: Yosemite.

It as an mazing place. After the coldest night in my life, we start a 8 hours walk. We went to the upper Yosemite Falls.

The second day, we ook an easier tour. Many beautiful places made us enjoy and finally we visited Mariposa Grove to see enormous sequoyas.

October

We rented a car, we were free to go anywhere. The closest place we wanted to spend a weekend: Los Angeles.

Days days were enough to do an architectural tour. We visited a few famous buildings, some Case Study houses and went to Santa Monica, Hollywood and Rodeo Drive.

When coming back, we met with a spanigh friend in Newport; we wanted to see the beach were many movies a TV series have been filmed. In spite of being tired because o doing a lot of things in only 3 days, we could only think about the next trip. Where, when...?

September

Summer was ended. I came back home... But in a few days I would start a great new experience. For first time in my life, I would go far away to study one year. That is the place from where I a writting: San Diego.

Other country, many miles from home, but I felt comfortable very soon. Living between the bay and the ocean, a warm weather and a healthy life around me made it easier.

In addition, we would be closer from other new places to visit. This was only the first step in a funny year.

August

I have travelled a lot this summer. But one more would come up to close the summer. There were many places in Europe I have never been to. Next arrival: Greece.

I travelled alone by plane. I had met in Athens with a friend coming rom Switzerland. We spent 2 days there visiting temples and enjoying sightseens from the hills.

After that, we took a boat to a beautiful island: Mykonos. Beautiful beaches, amazing sunsets and party everywhere were waiting for us.

August

I used to go to my best friend village in Summer when I was younger. It was 5 years ago since I didn't go... I gathered a few friends and we took the car for a 6 hours trip to Galicia, in the northern of Spain.

Firstly, we arrived to a small village Ourense were a regional party took place. BBQ, music and familiar environment were the ingredients for a couple of days in the mountain. After going for a daily walk and eat great food, we moved to A Coruña, where some other friends were waiting for us.

In Coruña, everything was very close. The beach and the city only 3 minutes walking. Delicious fresh seafood is served everywhere. Summer was finishing...

August

I came back home. My village was empty, everybody went out on vacation. I was bored, I needed to find a new plan. I suddenly decided to visit a friend in Baleares Islands to give a surprise.

Only four days were enough to know most of Mallorca. From the different areas of west to east, including interior and small villages, I could swim, see Architecture buildings, go to a concert, walk through beautiful streets and have fun with my friend.

August

I did my final exam. I was free on vacation, I had all the free time I wanted... My mind was preparing lots of plans for the lasta month before going to live to the other side of the Atlantantic Ocean. But I had to prepare for my English exam. No dates were available in Madrid, I had to move, but where, when? Barcelona was the choosen city, I had a few friends living there and I will meet with more friend for visiting the city after the exam.

A big party week was taking place in Barcelona just after the exam. It was perfect to enjoy nighlife with friends and visiting a lot of places I didn't know.

Finally, we decided to move on weekend. We went to the north of Barcelona to go to beautiful beaches and a really green huge area where we relax for a couple of days.

July

I live in Spain. The closest country is Portugal, but I have never gone in 22 years. One friend that loves travelling suggested me to one only one weekend by car. I accepted, we went to Lisboa for a three full days.

First day we arrived to Sesimbra, 30 minutes by car from Lisboa. It was a very natural area with a los of small villages in front of the ocean. The first afternoon, I saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in good company.

On Saturday, we went to Lisboa, we walk through all the city, took the old trolley to cross to the other side of the city and took the car for further areas. It was not the city I imagined; It was old and architecture was nos rally beautiful, but the general look of the city was very nice and familiar.

July

Each year, my friends and I organise a trip in Summer to go to the beach a meet all together. But this year we wanted something different, cheaper and funnier. After thinking about that, we decided to go to a house in Cáceres, in the west of Spain.

We were a few days walking in the mountain, going to the river to swim and talking hours and hours about everything we couldn't during the year.

It was funny and we discovered other type of holidays we will repeat for sure.

June

I had a friend studying in London. With my old school friends, we prepared a trip to visit her. We would have free hostage and the plane tickets are really cheap.

With a crazy weather, we visited a lot of different villages: Hampstead, Kingston... And different neighboorhouds in the city of London. We have been a few months since the last time we saw our friend, so it was exiting know new places all together.

But I had to come back to Spain and prepare one exam of a subject I failed... When could I do the next trip?

June

Only 2 days after finishing university for summer holidays, two friends and I travelled to Ibiza to have fun, swim in the sea and go party to forget a stressful year.

We rented a car and visited two beaches each day; then, we went to a different club every night. Ibiza is supposed to have the best nightlife in Spain. One day we went to another island called Formentera by boat. It was very quiet and had more natural beaches we went to by bike.

When we took the plane to come back to Madrid, I was only thinking about next trip...

April

After two months working hard for my degree, I was tired; I needed vacation time.

My university organised a trip for visiting Japan, but it was suddenly cancelled, so a friend and I looked for a place we had never visited and prepared for having 10 nice days. Destiny: Thailand.

I was in Bangkok, the most crazy city I have ever seen. It was amazing, kind people, very cheap stuff and a different style of life I couldn't imagine. Enormous roads, temples everywhere, various levels having people, cars and trolley sepparated, big malls that looked like small cities...

Finally, we went to Phuket, a paradise on Earth. Big mountains went out from the sea, deep blue water only seen on movies and a warm weather that made us feel in summer time.

January

New Year started. Nothing new, but everything changed. I had to do something, I had to solve it, I had to change... First stop, Stockholm.

I arrived to the Hostel with my friends from the University. It was very cold, but we were prepared with many winter clothes. We spent 5 days visiting the city. In spite of seeming a big city, we could go walking anywhere. It was beautiful to see many of the islands of Stockholm. Rivers, iced lakes, northern Europe architecture and much snow. We also went out some nights and visited some museums and great architecture buildings. From my pont of view, the cold but familiar atmosphere was the most intresting point.
